Update on My Organizational Process

I know I said earlier that I’d get better about naming my layers, but I still forget to do it about half the time. Anyway, here’s some screencaps of one of the times I did remember. With thumbnails enabled, it’s still easy for me to tell what’s going on in each layer without looking at the names, but the names definitely come in handy if I want to disable the thumbnails to have a more compact view of my layers. Changing how thumbnails appear in the layers toolbar can be done by right clicking on the darker gray area below the layer.

I like seeing an update on your organization, because it means you are thinking about it. I also appreciate “how” you are thinking about it, like, does it make sense for you to go through the trouble of naming the layers if you don’t need to? Certainly not, or maybe. It all depends on a working style. My main point here is for you to be intentional and disciplined one way or the other, to know why or why not, and to do or do not because you have researched and experimented, and not just be default. So good on you!
