Diary of a Digital Darling™

This semester in the D-Center I have composed instructional guides and power points, assisted first-year students in creating their portfolios, learned more about how to create an infographic, and become the social media coordinator for Tina Pippin’s podcast, Nothing Never Happens. So far, my favorite thing has been working on Tina’s podcast because I feel like I am a part of something that could really make a big impact.

I also feel like the skills I have acquired in the D-Center helped me when applying for a job with my favorite fashion blogger. All though I didn’t get the job because I couldn’t possibly have competed with someone who already had a degree and was working as a social media strategist, I made it to one of the final if not the final round of “interviews,” and I’m very proud of myself for that.

I would really love to be a course tutor for one of the sections of SUMMIT 400. I am also looking forward to learned more about how to grow my blog and social media presence.
