Clifton StrengthsFinder

Input – People exceptionally talented in the Input theme have a need to collect and archive. They may accumulate information, ideas, artifacts or relationships. Working in a multidisciplinary field like Public Health means I collect articles and books, but also different perspectives through which I can analyze issues

Learner – People exceptionally talented in the Learner theme have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. The process of learning, rather than the outcome, excites them. I always want to know more, even about things outside of my field of study. I want to know about how to build theater sets, what the best cupcake recipe is, and be able to be an incredible asset to your trivia team.

Responsibility – People exceptionally talented in the Responsibility theme take psychological ownership of what they say they will do. They are committed to stable values such as honesty and loyalty. The Honor Code at Agnes Scott was a huge draw in getting me to come to the school. I live by a very strict personal code of integrity, responsibility, and honesty that I leverage as a student organization leader.

Individualization – People exceptionally talented in the Individualization theme are intrigued with the unique qualities of each person. They have a gift for figuring out how different people can work together productively. As a co-president of the college a capella choir, I need to know how to best use the voices that I have in the group. In this case, productivity isn’t about being efficient, but making the best music we can.

Significance – People exceptionally talented in the Significance theme want to make a big impact. They are independent and prioritize projects based on how much influence they will have on their organization or people around them. My planner is constantly overflowing. Sometimes I need to make choices about what is the most important priority, right now? That comma, while small, has been a massive part of my life since I was 16 and started my first job. The most important overall priority might not always be the most important priority (COMMA) right now.
