About me

Created with Sketch.

My name is Quynh Nguyen, and I was born and grew up in Vietnam. I have been living in Atlanta, Georgia for six years now. I am currently a senior at Agnes Scott College majoring in Chemistry (American Chemical Society-approved) and minoring in Math. During my undergraduate study, I have encountered many experiences that have clarified and strengthened my future career aspirations. My first research experience, coupled with coursework in chemistry, associated lab work and tutoring experience sparked my interest in inorganic chemistry. After graduating from Agnes Scott College with a B.S degree in chemistry, I am planning to apply to graduate school in chemistry, with an emphasis on inorganic chemistry or materials chemistry, and pursue a career in academic research.

I am involved in several different activities on campus: I work as a learning assistant for Introduction Physics and Chemistry at the Resource Center for Math and Science (RCMS). I am also the co-president for American Chemical Society (ACS) and American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) club. During my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing and watching movies. I also love to hang out and try different kind of cuisines and deserts with my friends.

This portfolio is a showcase of my academic journey in the past four years at Agnes Scott College.
